Shakira’s roots-mining tenth album is a polished, sure-thing tapestry of reggae, Latin rhythms, anthemic rock, new wave, dance-pop, chill-down grooves, a dozen or so hit-making collaborators and an anomalous country duet (with Blake Shelton). Yet, what’s great, is the immensely talented, multilingual pop diva comes off sounding vulnerable (and real) at times.
